Changing Attributes in Text
One of the wonderful features in word processing is the ability to change how the text looks and how the lines are spaced.
The instructions here guide to you changing the font type and size of the text and line spacing. As you will see when you open the window to change the font type and size there are many attributes that you can add to the text. Take the time to look at the offerings in that window.

NOTE: You can perform the above before you start typing the document and the text in the document will then be in that size and type face. To increase the font by one point, after selecting the text, tap Ctrl+] |

Word Perfect
- Select the part of the document for which you wish to have the font size changed.
- On the Menu Line click on Format>Font
- To change :
- Size - under the size box select the appropriate size by clicking on it.
- Type face - Select the appropriate font. A sample of how the text will
look in a given font can be seen at the bottom left of the screen.
- To make your choices the default for all future documents click on the Settings button and "Select face and point size for all documents."
- When you are happy with the text style click on "OK"
You can select a font, size or both before beginning to type the document.
Setting Line Spacing
Changing the spacing between lines can be done at any time, before you type, during, or afterwards. To set the spacing after you have typed, select the text (If you want to space the entire document tap Ctrl+A to select the entire document.) then perform the steps. In Word it is a paragraph attribute, in Word Perfect, a line attribute, meaning you can have different spacing within the same paragraph.
